Serena’s Wasted Ink

{October 22, 2005}   More Baseball and stuff in the news…

Astros beat the Cardinals, so it’ll be Astros vs White Sox. I was hoping for Cardinals vs White Sox, but oh well. It should still be a good few games.

Lately, I’ve had this fascination with Schizophrenia. Mainly because I’m on 25 mg/day of Seroquel and many schizos take much higher dosages of the same meds. Im on it for anxiety, thats all. But this media coverage over schizophrenics lately irritate me. Yea, sometimes they act out their stuff and kill family members, kinda like that lady who recently threw her 3 sons over a bridge in San Fransisco or, (I know this was awhile back) when that guy who had the Scientologist mother who wouldnt allow him to be medicated and gave him vitamins, and he stabbed her 77 times because “she had an evil eye.” But how about the Schizos who are incredible artists or actually help out and make something of themselves? They are out there, but the American culture doesn’t give two shits about them because they’ve got “mental issues” and are “potentially dangerous.”

{October 18, 2005}   Ah, Yes, I forgot about BASEBALL

I love baseball. I dont get to watch it much because of my busy lifestyle, but I love lying down on the couch and watching a good game with a team I care for.

After the White Sox won the other night, I was jumpin up and down going “yay!” Cardinals won last night. Not a Cardinals fan (cuz, well, I’m a CUBS fan) I was glad they won though. I want the White Sox to beat the Cardinals so bad.

It’s like war where I live right now. Half the population are Cardinal fans and the other half really like the Cubs and or Sox. It’s great.

Go White Sox!!!

{October 17, 2005}   Walkin the Dog

I felt pretty good today. When I woke up, my dog was lying next to me, just staring at me. Weird, but cute. So I got up, changed clothes, and took her out to Kaufman Lake. It’s this little man made lake with a nice path to Parkland College. She loves it there. So we went for a nice 2 mile walk. Came home and just lyed in bed for awhile. She is so freaking cute and sweet. I love my doggie.

{October 12, 2005}   I wonder about these people…
